Sixteen award-winning authors, and seven editors and agents will welcome aspiring authors and avid fiction fans to the 2010 "Written in the Stars" conference at The Holiday Inn Financial Plaza at 5555 Financial Plaza in Shreveport, Louisiana on Friday and Saturday March 5-6, 2010.  The authors include contemporary author Lori Wilde, historical author Sandy Blair, inspirational romance author Kaye Dacus, and playwright Allen Davis III. Local favorites include Winnie Griggs, Beth Cornelison, and Connie Cox.  Attendees may meet with editors from Harlequin, Samhain Publishing, and Bantam Dell and literary agents to pitch their current work-in-progress.  There are over 23 workshops during the two days to meet the needs of writers and fans.

There will also be a bookstore and a book signing on Saturday, March 6th beginning at 5:30 PM and is open to the public.
